Job Description

Job Title: Water Treatment Equipment Engineer.
Location: Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Tyne and Wear.
Salary / Benefits £25k - £45k + Training + Benefits

Well respected Water Treatment player with a presence UK wide now seeks an experienced Water Treatment Equipment Engineer capable of working on blue chip heavy industry and manufacturing sites across the North East of England. You will be carrying out the servicing and maintenance of RO's, Softeners, UV Filtration and Chemical Dosing Systems. Experience & Qualifications
  • Strong competence in the servicing and installation of clean water equipment.
  • A background in mechanical/electrical engineering or 18th electrical would be beneficial to the role.
  • Prepared to cover reactive work and call outs.
  • Well versed in relevant Health and Safety Legislations.
  • Will be IT literate.
  • Will be always professional and presentable.
The Role
  • Carrying out installations and replacements of reverse osmosis, CL02 systems and UV filtration systems.
  • Installation and servicing of water softeners ranging in size.
  • Installation of chemical dosing equipment within cooling towers.
  • Carrying out pre-work risk assessments, ensuring all paperwork is correct.
  • Assisting with RAMS for works to be carried out.
  • Ensuring onsite logbooks are completed.
  • Completing any necessary remedial works and repairs.
  • Picking up on faults while on site and ensuring they are dealt with efficiently.
  • Liaising with clients, providing excellent technical advice, dealing with any queries efficiently.
  • Ensuring all Health and Safety legislations are being followed.
