Water Treatment Account Manager - Watford

An opportunity has arisen within a distinguished water treatment company known for delivering a range of technical water treatment services to clients across the UK. They are currently recruiting for a tenacious and commercially minded Water Treatment Account Manager based in and around the Watford area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record selling technical water treatment services to a mixed portfolio of contracts with previous experience managing steam boilers, closed systems, and cooling tower accounts. Consideration will be given to applicants from Luton, Stevenage, Harlow, and the surrounding areas.

• A good working knowledge of the water treatment industry.
• Experience managing a varied portfolio of cooling tower, steam boiler and closed system accounts.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient IT skills, including MS Office.

• Manage and develop a portfolio of water treatment accounts, including Cooling Towers, Steam Boilers and Closed System accounts.
• Management of existing accounts and sites regarding L8 compliance, water treatment and remedial works.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues of all professional levels.
• Building and maintaining good working relationships clients.
• Site surveys and investigations as and when required.
• Preparation of quotes and processing purchase orders.
• Completing detailed reports.
• Dealing with any issues appropriately and effectively.

Overall, the successful candidate will be commercially motivated, with excellent water treatment industry knowledge and will demonstrate their proven track record in sales/account management.
