Water Network Pressure Tester & Chlorinator

An opportunity has arisen for a Water Network Pressure Tester & Chlorinator to join our team. We will provide company training, offering a fantastic long-term career with Aptus Utilities.

Overall Purpose of the Role

To provide a full water supply and connections service, including hydrostatic testing, disinfection of mains, and water sampling. The role involves traveling across the country in our high-spec, custom-built vehicles to test new-build properties, ensuring the water supply is safe for residents.

What you will be doing:

• Operating on newly constructed PE & metallic pipelines:
• Hydrostatic pressure testing
• Chlorination and sampling
• Monitoring and recording extraction of pipe scouring swabs
• Liaising with Host Water Authority Engineers

What we ask from you:

• Construction experience (desirable)
• Full driving licence
• Experience in pressure testing and chlorination of new water mains (desirable)

Training will be provided under the mentorship of the Water Technician, covering:

• Mains hygiene
• SHEA Water
• Hydrostatic water testing
• Chlorination and sampling
