Water Hygiene Engineer - Edinburgh

Our candidate is a multi-disciplinary water company that offer a wide range of water treatment / legionella services to long-standing clients throughout the UK. Due to new contract wins they are now looking to recruit an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to work on a variety of contracts in and around the Edinburgh area. Undertaking daily tasks such as, monitoring client are and water systems, making sure that they are up to date with current health and safety guidelines, Shower head descale and Closed system analysis. Consideration will be given to applicants from the Leith, Musselburgh, Bonnyrigg, Gogar and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience working within a similar role within the water treatment sector.
• Well versed with the water treatment industry and legislations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• IT proficient.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the client's air and water systems ensuring compliance with the current Health and Safety legislation.
• Carrying out cleaning, disinfection and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
• Delivering temperature monitoring and sampling regimes to a mixed portfolio of site bases.
• Servicing TMVs.
• Showerhead descales.
• Cold water tank cleaning/inspections/replacements.
• Undertaking closed system analysis.
