Waste and Compliance Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to join the NHS Forth Valley Waste Management Team. The role will support the delivery of the compliance requirements of the Board's Waste Management Licence and contractual and regulatory compliance requirements for waste audits.

The post holder will be the nominated Technically Competent Manager (COTC Holder) for the Boards clinical waste operations at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

This post is based at Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert and will require the post holder to visit and audit sites across Forth Valley area.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
