Warm & Engaging Nanny Needed - Brantham, Suffolk

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and confident nanny to join a welcoming family, caring for two children aged 5 months and 3 years in an idyllic rural location on the outskirts of Brantham, Suffolk. The family seeks an energetic, fun and down to earth nanny who will provide warm, attentive care while creating a positive, engaging environment in which their children can thrive.

Responsibilities

• Engage the children in play, promote learning and socialisation through daily activities.
• Take the children on countryside walks and plan outings to encourage exploration.
• Attend local children's groups and community activities.
• Provide occasional family administration, grocery shopping and other ad hoc tasks to support the smooth running of the household.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment that supports the children's growth, wellbeing and confidence.

Working Hours and Schedule

• Hours: 12.00pm - 6.00pm.
• Days: Monday, Thursday and Friday.
• Start Date: August 2026.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a nanny.
• Level 3 Childcare qualification.
• 12 hour Paediatric First Aid certificate.
• Enhanced DBS and up to date DBS certificate registered on the update service.
• Full, clean driving licence (an on duty car will be provided).
• Positive, proactive and organised approach to supporting children's development.

• Competitive pay: £20.00 gross per hour (£18,720.00 gross per annum).
