Overview

Warehouse / Workshop Operators - Location: Stone Business Park, Emerald Way, Stone, ST15 0SR. Pay Rate: £14.35 - £16.41 per hour. Working Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm or 9:00am - 5:00pm. Assignment Type: Ongoing, with the opportunity to secure a permanent role after 12 weeks.

About the Role: Manpower is recruiting Warehouse / Workshop Operators to join a busy and dynamic operation in Stone, supporting The Magnum Ice Cream Company. This is a hands-on, workshop-based role where you will be responsible for refurbishing and re-decaling refrigeration cabinets used across retail environments. The work is similar in nature to a car body shop, involving attention to detail, care, and precision to ensure high-quality finishes.

Responsibilities

• Refurbish refrigeration cabinets to a high standard
• Apply decals and finishes accurately and efficiently
• Carry out workshop-based tasks in line with quality and safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet daily targets

Qualifications

To be considered, you should meet the following minimum criteria:

• Previous experience in a hands-on or workshop environment (e.g. body shop, production, refurbishment)
• FLT Licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach) - at least 2 positions require this
  • Licences must be in-date (external or in-house from a reputable company)
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Good team player with a positive work ethic

Desirable

• Full UK Driving Licence (Category B)
