Your responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative:
Inbound and outbound shipments
You'll load and unload vans and trucks, check shipment labels and place packages in the right location so every shipment enters the correct process.
Sorting packages
You'll sort packages by postcode and destination, making sure each container or roll cage is correctly prepared and ready to leave on time.
Building and loading containers
You'll prepare roll cages, stack packages safely and securely, and make sure everything is ready for the next step in the delivery process.
Safety and quality
You'll keep an eye out for damaged packages, follow safety procedures and use the correct lifting techniques to work safely and responsibly.
Working as a team
Each shift starts with a short team briefing where you'll go over the planning and priorities for the morning. You'll work closely with your colleagues and help each other complete the sorting process on time. - Hourly pay: From €15.30 gross per hour, depending on experience
- Weekly pay: Get your salary paid into your account every week
- Flexible working hours: Fixed morning shifts, with a minimum of three shifts per week
- Holiday allowance: 8% holiday pay plus 10% holiday hours on every hour worked
- Extra benefits: 6.24% flexible benefits budget and €0.23 travel allowance per kilometre
- Monday morning availability: You're available every Monday from 07:00 to 10:00.
- Additional availability: You're available for at least two additional morning shifts per week.
- Location: You live near Den Hoorn and can travel to the workplace independently.
- Physically fit: You're comfortable handling and lifting packages weighing up to 20 kg.
- Language skills: You have a basic understanding of Dutch or English for day-to-day communication with your team.
