Warehouse Test EngineerLocation: EastleighHours: Monday - Friday, 08.00am-17.00pm + overtime

Driver Hire Southampton are recruiting for a Warehouse Test Engineer to join an air conditioning company in Eastleigh. This role involves a mix of warehouse duties and technical tasks, including preparing equipment for dispatch, operating a counterbalance forklift, carrying out equipment testing, completing checks, and supporting basic mechanical adjustments.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on individual with warehouse, engineering, or technical experience looking for a varied role.

You will be responsible for preparing, testing, and dispatching specialist equipment while supporting day-to-day warehouse operations.

• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Operating a counterbalance forklift (licence required)
• Checking and organising stock
• Preparing equipment for dispatch
• Carrying out equipment testing and quality checks
• Completing paperwork and reporting results
• Supporting minor mechanical adjustments and repairs
• Assisting the wider service team when required

• Previous warehouse or technical experience preferred
• Valid counterbalance forklift licence essential
• Practical and mechanically minded
• Reliable with good attention to detail
• Able to work well independently and within a team
