Warehouse Supervisor

CHF Global Home Group is a leading furniture manufacturer and distributor, supplying high-quality home products across the UK. With continued growth and investment in our people, systems, and sites, we're now looking for a motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join our Launceston team.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee day-to-day operations, motivate a small team, and help drive a culture of organisation, accuracy, and continuous improvement. You'll work closely with the General Manager and play a key part in shaping the warehouse as we move towards a more tech-driven, data-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the warehouse team to achieve high performance.
• Plan rotas, manage holidays, and allocate tasks effectively.
• Oversee inbound containers: paperwork, scheduling, and unloading.
• Coordinate daily picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory through perpetual stock counts.
• Manage returns, ensuring compliance with procedures.
• Ensure all vehicle checks, maintenance records, and H&S logs are up to date.
• Order consumables and manage stock levels.
• Use NetSuite (or similar WMS) and Excel to manage data and reporting.
• Step in and work alongside the team when required (picking, unloading, etc.).
• Record near misses and accidents, ensuring safety standards are upheld.
• Collaborate with the Dispatch team and liaise with hauliers.
• Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has proven warehouse experience with supervisory/leadership responsibility.
• Holds a valid Forklift licence (desirable).
• Is confident using WMS (NetSuite experience preferred).
• Is organised, detail-oriented, and proactive.
• Communicates clearly, both face-to-face and by email.
• Enjoys motivating and developing a team.
• Is comfortable with Excel, spreadsheets, and data analysis.
• Brings a positive, problem-solving mindset and drive for improvement.
