Warehouse Operatives - Arminghall (MM) Norfolk

• Location: Norwich - Norfolk
• Pay Rate: £12.50, rising to £13ph on passing probation per hour
• Position: Permanent

Are you an enthusiastic, hard-working individual with a positive attitude and a keen eye for detail? Mattressman is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team at our Norwich HQ. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic company that values teamwork and dedication.

Shift patterns will vary across the following:

• 7am - 3:30pm
• 8am - 4:30pm
• 9am - 5:30pm

Role Purpose: As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring that all warehouse tasks are completed efficiently, on schedule, and in compliance with company standards and Health & Safety policies. You will be responsible for supporting the smooth operations of our warehouse, ensuring that orders are processed, packed, and shipped accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick and fulfil customer orders to facilitate smooth warehouse operations.
• Process incoming stock and materials with precision.
• Sort and pack orders into bags for shipment.
• Manage inventory, organise stock, and perform regular stock counts.
• Safely use manual pallet trucks, trolleys, and other warehouse equipment.
• Load and unload vehicles while ensuring the safe handling of all loads.

Requirements:

• Knowledge & Experience:
• Familiarity with Health & Safety procedures, including risk assessments and compliance.
• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial, though not required, as training will be provided.

• Confidence in delivering effective communication to colleagues and contacts.
