Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm / 11:00am to 8:00pm
Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent

About the Company

Our client is a well established flooring company based in Chessington, supplying high quality flooring products to customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join their warehouse team.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse. Working within a busy environment, you will be responsible for picking, packing, loading, unloading, and preparing flooring products for dispatch while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and packing flooring products accurately for customer orders
• Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
• Checking incoming stock and reporting any discrepancies
• Labelling, wrapping, and preparing goods for dispatch
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
• Assisting with stock control and stock takes
• Moving stock within the warehouse as required
• Following all health and safety procedures

Candidate Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
• Comfortable with manual handling and lifting heavy flooring materials
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Flexible and willing to support different areas of the warehouse when required
• Forklift Counterbalance
