Job Description
Warehouse Operative
Our specialised client based in Stafford Park Telford is looking for a full-time permanent warehouse operative to join their busy team.
You will be reporting to the operations and logistics manager and be responsible for picking and packing orders, performing stock counts, processing of goods inwards, assisting in the unloading of incoming goods. To check and locate them in designated areas also assisting in the loading of outgoing goods. Ensure loads are secure and in good condition at point of despatch, whilst keeping accurate documentation.
In addition, you will maintain a good working relationship with visitors and drivers and ensure that health and safety procedures and regulations are followed, monitoring and keeping all stock movements documented, notifying management of any discrepancy immediately, as standard maintaining your work area in a clean and orderly manner in conformance to quality and safety procedures on a daily basis, ensuring all waste is removed from site in a timely manner and ensuring security of buildings, and equipment on a daily basis.

Ideal Candidate
- FLT experience preferred
- Experience with tractor driving would be advantageous.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency with standard IT applications and equipment.
- Knowledge of H&S standards in manual handling, loading, unloading.
- Hard working, reliable and has an excellent understanding of customer service.
Hours
8-5pm Monday - Friday
Salary
£27,089 per annum
