Warehouse Operative

We are seeking several dedicated Warehouse Operatives to join our client based in Darlington.

Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Please be aware that drug and alcohol tests will be performed prior to starting this role and randomly throughout your assignment.

Shift options:

Front Shift - 5:00 am until finish, approx 6 8 hours per shift, depending on business needs.

AM Shift - 9:00 am until finish, approx 6 8 hours per shift, depending on business needs.

PM Shift - 2:00 pm until finish, approx 6 8 hours per shift, depending on business needs.

Pay rate is £12.71 per hour, paid weekly on a Friday.

Work schedule: 5 days over 7, including working some weekends (2 weekends in, 1 weekend off rota).

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming pallets.
• Organise and maintain inventory in the warehouse.
• Perform quality control checks on incoming pallets.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pump trucks.
• Always follow health and safety guidelines.
• Assist in other warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Operative or similar role.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
