Warehouse Operative

Our client is one of Britain's leading manufacturers of high-quality upholstered furniture. The team are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their hardworking and dedicated crew in Hastings, East Sussex.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within a warehouse role, be computer literate, possess good communication skills and have a good eye for detail. You will also be able to work well in a team and have an awareness of Health and Safety in the workplace.

As a Warehouse Operative you will be receiving deliveries of goods and storing them, checking for damaged or missing items as well as packaging goods. You will ensure all relevant documentation is correct and processed using the company software.

The Ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:

• Demonstrable experience within a warehouse position
• Be computer literate
• Possess good communication skills
• Have a good eye for detail
• Be a strong team player

Your duties as a Warehouse Operative would be:

• Receiving delivery of goods and storing
• Checking for damaged or missing items
• Moving stock around the warehouse
• Preparing orders for despatch
• Ensuring goods are loaded ready for sending
• Keeping and maintaining stock records
• Data entry
• Maintaining the warehouse in a clean and tidy manner

Salary:

£12.71 per hour

Hours:

• Monday - Thursday, 7.30am - 4.30pm and Friday, 7.30am - 12pm
• Full Time, Temp to Perm
