Role of the Warehouse Operative

• Proven experience of working in a busy warehouse.
• Responsible for ensuring that all outgoing deliveries are inspected and monitored for quality control, correct numbers etc.
• Good attention to detail and inspection skills to ensure deliveries, stock etc all stowed properly and correctly.
• Understand measurements, size, transportation information etc.
• Good English language communication skills, both verbal and written to ensure all correspondence is understood and correct.
• Basic computer skills to record the items (straight forward system, training given).
• Ability to lift heavy weights of 20kg (metals company supplying to motorsports, F1, aerospace sectors).
• Ideally, a UK driving licence, as you may be expected to transport goods between warehouses.

Hours of Work (40 hours per week)

Initially Mon Fri 9:30am - 6:00pm. Then you will be on the following rotational shift pattern:

• Shift 1 for 1 week - 7:30am - 4:00pm
• Shift 2 for the following week - 11:00am - 7:30pm
