Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver

We're looking for a skilled Warehouse Operative to support all aspects of our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in warehouse related work and ideally have used Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) previously. This is predominantly a manual warehouse role with limited FLT driving (10%) and will involve some heavy lifting.

Key Responsibilities for a Warehouse Operative:

• Picking and packing orders
• Hand balling/manually unloading deliveries
• Producing paperwork and dispatch labels
• Liaise with transport companies ensuring daily collection targets are met.
• Picking & packing orders for despatch ensuring a high level of accuracy using hand held scanners.
• Manage stock and prepare transfers for loading goods on to delivery vehicles.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or with MHE.
• Ability to move between departments

Key Skills for a Warehouse Operative:

• Valid forklift license
• Strong communication skills & team player.
• Organised, pro active & positive attitude.

Additional Info:

• Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.00am-5.30pm 8.00am-2.45pm on Friday
• Salary: £27,200 per annum
• Start Date: ASAP
