Warehouse Operative - Forklift

Are you a reliable and hardworking individual looking for a full-time warehouse role? This leading organisation in Letchworth is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their team immediately on a temp to perm basis!

Location: Letchworth
Working hours: 8:30am-5pm Mon - Thurs, 8.30am-4pm Friday.

Warehouse Operative - Key Responsibilities

• Preparing goods and processing purchase orders
• Inspecting materials and assisting with stock checks
• Picking, packing, and supporting all warehouse operations
• Checking and producing consignment paperwork
• Inputting delivery details onto the system using MS Excel
• Ensuring all goods received are checked and dispatched correctly
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe
• Building and maintaining relationships with internal teams

Warehouse Operative - Skills and Experience required

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills
• Physically fit and comfortable lifting heavy boxes
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Minimum GCSE level education or equivalent
• MUST HOLD A CURRENT COUNTERBALANCE FORKLIFT LICENCE
