Warehouse Manager - Heathrow About the Role

We are seeking an organised, proactive, and hands on Warehouse Manager to oversee the day to day operations of our Heathrow warehouse. You will be responsible for managing a team of 4-5 warehouse staff, ensuring efficient workflow, accurate stock control, and a safe working environment. A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) licence is essential for this role, as you will lead by example and support operational tasks when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, motivate, and support a team of 4-5 warehouse operatives.
• Oversee daily warehouse operations including goods in, goods out, and internal stock movements.
• Load and unload vehicles using a forklift (FLT licence required).
• Ensure accurate checking, recording, and storage of incoming deliveries.
• Oversee picking, packing, and preparation of orders for dispatch.
• Conduct regular stock checks, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate stock records.
• Maintain a safe, organised, and compliant warehouse environment.
• Manage warehouse documentation and support stock booking processes.li>
• Liaise with couriers, drivers, and suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Monitor performance, provide training, and ensure high operational standards across the team.
• Ensure all warehouse equipment is operated safely and in line with company procedures.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role.
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (essential).
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a small team.
• Confident working independently and making operational decisions.
• Basic IT skills for stock systems and documentation.
• Good understanding of warehouse health & safety procedures.
