Warehouse Manager

We are seeking an organised, proactive, and hands on Warehouse Manager to oversee the day to day operations of our Heathrow warehouse. You will be responsible for managing a team of 4-5 warehouse staff, ensuring efficient workflow, accurate stock control, and a safe working environment. A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) licence is essential for this role, as you will lead by example and support operational tasks when required.
Key Responsibilities- Manage, motivate, and support a team of 4-5 warehouse operatives.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including goods in, goods out, and internal stock movements.
- Load and unload vehicles using a forklift (FLT licence required).
- Ensure accurate checking, recording, and storage of incoming deliveries.
- Oversee picking, packing, and preparation of orders for dispatch.
- Conduct regular stock checks, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate stock records.
- Maintain a safe, organised, and compliant warehouse environment.
- Manage warehouse documentation and support stock booking processes.li>
- Liaise with couriers, drivers, and suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Monitor performance, provide training, and ensure high operational standards across the team.
- Ensure all warehouse equipment is operated safely and in line with company procedures.
- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role.
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (essential).
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a small team.
- Confident working independently and making operational decisions.
- Basic IT skills for stock systems and documentation.
- Good understanding of warehouse health & safety procedures.
