Warehouse Manager

What you need to know

I am looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead the day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations.

This role is with my client, an expanding company based in Co. Roscommon.

You'll lead your team, improve processes, and ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time. You will oversee transport planning, delivery performance, and cost control.

This is a permanent job.

Your new job Key duties & responsibilities:

• Manage the day to day warehouse & logistics operations (goods in/out, picking, packing, dispatch).
• Oversee transport planning and delivery performance.
• Manage stock control processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
• Monitor and optimise key performance indicators, including accuracy, productivity and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams.
• Maintain and enhance warehouse and ERP systems
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members.
• Plan and coordinate staffing levels, workloads, and day-to-day operational activities.

What are we looking for?

• 3+ years' experience in a warehouse/logistics management role.
• Experience managing & leading a team.
• Proven ability to improve processes and drive efficiency.
• Experience implementing or improving ERP/inventory systems - preferable.
• Commercial awareness and cost control experience - preferable.
• Good systems/IT awareness (MS Office, ERP/inventory systems).
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
