Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager in managing daily warehouse operations.
• Oversee the proper reception, storage, and dispatch of products.
• Supervise and support warehouse employees, offering training and direction as needed.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient stock management.
• Implement and enforce health and safety policies, with frequent assessments.
• Plan and organise deliveries and collections to ensure that clients' deadlines are met.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organised.
• Help to prepare reports and other administrative chores.
• Handle client enquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Identify areas for operational improvement and propose solutions.
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations and corporate policy.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline warehouse processes.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a warehouse, preferably in the removals business.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.
