Apply today!# Job Details Job Title: Warehouse Cleaner - Day Shift Location: Belfast Service Centre Work Pattern: Full Time, Monday to Friday 07:00-15:30 (40 hours per week) Summary of Role We are seeking a reliable and proactive Cleaner to join our Facilities team at our Belfast Service Centre. This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the warehouse environment, ensuring all cleaning activities are completed in line with agreed schedules, operating procedures, and health and safety requirements. The successful candidate will help support a safe, clean, and efficient working environment for all colleagues. Responsibilities Complete warehouse cleaning activities in accordance with the agreed cleaning schedule. Respond promptly to cleaning requests from across the site. Maintain cleaning stations, ensuring mops, equipment, and water supplies are available and fit for use. Empty compactors in line with manufacturer guidelines and site procedures. Clean the compactor area at the end of each shift. Ensure cardboard cages are emptied and returned to the correct warehouse locations. Report any missed cleaning activities, equipment faults, or operational issues to the Duty Manager. Follow all health and safety procedures and complete any reasonable duties requested by management. Skills and Knowledge Good verbal communication skills. Basic written communication skills. Basic numeracy and literacy skills. Strong attention to detail and visual accuracy. Customer-focused approach to work. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Understanding of workplace health and safety practices. Ability to follow schedules, procedures, and instructions consistently. Desirable Previous cleaning experience within a warehouse, distribution, or industrial environment. Experience working within a regulated or healthcare-related environment. Knowledge of warehouse cleaning equipment and processes. Understanding of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) principles. Experience working independently with minimal supervision. Awareness of waste management and recycling procedures. Experience maintaining cleaning records and schedules.
