Warehouse & Logistics Manager

Salary: £40,000 - £44,000 (depending on experience) & benefits
Hours: Full-time - 37.5 hours per week

Due to continued growth, Viamaster International Limited is creating a brand-new role and is looking for an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager to lead and develop our warehouse operation in Morley.

This is a key leadership role within the business, offering the opportunity to shape warehouse processes, improve efficiency, and build a high-performing team to support our expanding international operations.

You'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of our warehouse and logistics function, ensuring stock is controlled accurately, jobs are fulfilled on time, facilities and equipment are well maintained, and health & safety standards are met at all times. You'll work closely with other departments to drive continuous improvement across the operation.

• Leading all warehouse operations including goods in, storage, picking, packing and dispatch
• Ensuring high levels of stock accuracy through strong stock control and regular counts
• Improving warehouse layout, workflows and processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Managing warehouse equipment (FLT, racking, scanners, pallet trucks etc.), ensuring inspections, servicing and compliance are up to date
• Taking responsibility for the upkeep of the warehouse building and facilities, working with landlords and contractors where required
• Leading, motivating and developing a team of warehouse operatives
• Planning staffing levels and rotas to meet operational demand
• Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety and carrying out risk assessments
• Overseeing statutory inspections (racking, lifting equipment, fire safety etc.)
• Producing KPI reports on stock accuracy, productivity, order fulfilment and equipment downtime
• Working closely with various departments throughout the business
• Ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained within the warehouse and yard environments

• Proven experience in a warehouse managerial role
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control and facilities management
• Confident people manager with the ability to lead and motivate a team
• Solid understanding of Health & Safety regulations
• Experience managing equipment inspections, servicing and compliance records
• Experience managing a cross-dock operation
• Knowledge of customs procedures and international shipping documentation
• Forklift licence / MHE certification
• Experience managing contractors and building maintenance
• Experience within an international focussed business
• Knowledge of using a warehouse management system
