Ward Volunteer: Meals & Patient Comfort

Our Ward Volunteers help serve our patients with meals and refreshments under the guidance of our Patient Care Volunteer Coordinators (PCVC) and comfort and support distressed patients, their families and friends, passing any counselling responsibility to the Nursing Teams. Please see role description for full details of this volunteering opportunity.

• Thursday Supper 4.30pm-7.30pm (alternate weeks)
• Saturday Supper 4.30-7.30pm (alternate weeks)

If you are unable to commit to a regular shift, we are also looking for volunteers who can cover holidays and sickness. The shifts are sent out on a regular basis and you can pick and choose what suits you.
