Ward Sister Renacres Hospital, OrmskirkFull Time - 37.5 hours per week The Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Ward Sister to join our team at Renacres Hospital. As Ward Sister, you will play a key leadership role within the ward, supporting the Ward Manager and Consultants while ensuring the delivery of the highest standards of patient care.
You will be NMC registered and able to demonstrate strong leadership qualities, effective communication skills, and a supportive, team-focused approach. This is a demanding but rewarding role, requiring flexibility, enthusiasm, and the confidence to lead and inspire a team of nurses and healthcare assistants.
What You'll Bring with YouNMC Registration (essential)
Current leadership experience within a hospital environment
Ability to manage problem situations calmly and effectively
Flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of the service
Passion for delivering an excellent patient-focused service
Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
Sound written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Confident IT and computer literacy
