Job Description
- To be responsible for co-ordinating the provision of continuous clinical care within allocated resources, providing a quality service and high clinical standards for all patients in your area
- To be responsible for the management of all human resource issues relating to the staff employed in your area
- To act as Budget Holder, accountable for the management of the unit budget, and for the management of the charitable fund
- To exercise accountability as set out in the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
- To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership
- To liaise and co-ordinate the ODU team through the use of effective communication and evidence-based practice
- To provide the highest standard of holistic care for Oncology /Haematology patients undergoing treatment and supportive care, through the utilisation of advanced clinical skills.
- To contribute to the setting, standardisation and maintaining of standards of care across all sites delivering Chemotherapy and SACT Trust wide
- To participate in the on- call rota for the Trust wide Chemotherapy Emergency Helpline
