What You'll Do:
  • Provide an efficient and professional catering service on wards, communicating effectively with colleagues and ward staff.
  • Complete daily documentation accurately and in line with required schedules, procedures and standards.
  • Safely transport and deliver food and beverage trolleys to wards, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across ward kitchens, pantries and catering work areas.
  • Ensure catering equipment is safe, clean and in good working order, completing routine cleaning and maintenance checks and reporting any issues to the supervisor.

  • Communicate clearly and effectively, with strong listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Be adaptable, self-motivated and able to respond positively to changing priorities.
