Job Description
Ward Catering Assistant

Location: Nuffield Health Taunton

Salary: £12.71 per hour + Sodexo Benefits

Hours: 32.5 per week

5 days out of 7

As a Ward Catering Assistant, you'll bring comfort, care and a friendly smile to patients, visitors and staff by helping deliver high quality meals and exceptional service across the hospital. Your warmth and professionalism can brighten someone's day and make a meaningful difference during challenging moments.

What You'll Do
  • Assist with preparing, setting up and serving hot and cold meals
  • Follow recipes and product guidelines to maintain food quality
  • Clean and sanitise workstations, equipment and service areas
  • Break down and tidy food service areas after mealtimes
  • Provide excellent customer service with a positive, caring approach

  • A friendly, respectful and professional attitude
  • Basic food handling and hygiene awareness
  • Ability to stay active and on your feet throughout your shift
