Salary: £12.55 per hour

Job Type and Hours: The job is full time and will consist of 33.25 hours per week on a shift basis. This role includes working weekends.

This role requires a female worker as a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.

Waking Night Support Worker for The Porthouse (Worcester Park)

The Porthouse is a CQC registered supported living service for adults with autism and learning disabilities and is based in Worcester Park. Built on a culture of respect and fun, we are a family-run business now looking to welcome some fresh faces to our tight-knit team.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Relevant experience working in a supportive role
• Willing to undertake personal care
• Confident working with challenging behaviour
• A genuine interest in delivering high-quality person-centred care

Desirable

• Level 3 Health and Social Care
• Experience in specialist care for people with autism, learning disabilities, or complex backgrounds
• Familiar with waking night duties

Responsibilities

• Providing quality and consistent care to help meet the social, emotional, and behavioural needs of residents
• Supporting the independence, interests, health, and wellbeing of young adults
• Promoting the safety, welfare, and protection of the young adults we care for at all times
