Job Description
  • Drive new revenue by identifying, targeting, and closing multi-million-dollar contracts with state, federal, and private sector clients.
  • Lead end-to-end complex sales cycles, from prospecting to negotiation and contract award.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with decision-makers, procurement officers, and policy influencers.
  • Partner with lobbyists and advocacy groups to secure favorable procurement opportunities.
  • Manage and maintain a dynamic sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and CRM discipline.
  • Lead RFP/RFQ/RFI responses, ensuring compliant, compelling, and competitive proposals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align proposal content with technical and operational capabilities.
  • Contribute to P&L and budget planning, ensuring sales strategies align with profitability goals.
  • Actively participate as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, providing strategic recommendations and market insights.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and government forums.
The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate is a seasoned sales leader with 15-20 years of B2B experience, including 10+ years in state, federal, or insurance markets. They have a proven track record of closing multi-million-dollar contracts, navigating complex government procurement processes, and scaling companies from start-up or early stage to $50M-$100M revenue. Strategic, results-driven, and highly persuasive, they excel at relationship building, negotiation, and leading high-performing sales teams. Strong financial acumen, proposal writing skills, and the ability to operate in regulated environments are essential.
