What You Will Do
We are looking for an experienced and highly engaged Vice President of Sales for all of the APAC region for the AECO Segment of Trimble, Inc., to lead and direct the sales organization to deliver targeted business outcomes, a great customer experience, and growth in revenue, consumption and usage for Trimble. This critical leadership role will be responsible for defining and executing the direct sales strategy, driving significant revenue growth, building and scaling a high-performing sales team, and expanding our market presence throughout the APAC territories. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the SaaS landscape, a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in complex enterprise environments, and exceptional leadership capabilities.
Develop and implement a comprehensive direct sales strategy for the APAC region, aligning with global sales objectives and leveraging market opportunities.
Accountable for achieving and exceeding ambitious revenue targets and KPIs for the APAC direct sales team.
Recruit, hire, train, coach, and mentor a world-class team of sales managers and individual contributors. Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Identify and capitalize on new market segments and strategic opportunities within APAC to drive business expansion.
Sales Operations Excellence: Implement and optimize sales processes, CRM utilization (e.g., Salesforce), forecasting methodologies, and reporting to ensure efficiency and predictability.
Work closely with the marketing team to ensure that marketing programs meet and align with overall sales objectives. Supply input/feedback to marketing team for consideration to improve target messaging to specific vertical markets that maximizes revenues.
Work closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Finance teams to ensure a cohesive go-to-market strategy and seamless customer experience.
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify threats and opportunities.
Provide regular, accurate, and insightful reports on sales performance, pipeline health, and market trends to senior leadership.
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
15+ years of progressive experience in direct sales, with at least 8-10 years in a senior leadership role managing SaaS sales teams.
Proven track record of consistently exceeding multi-million dollar sales quotas in the APAC region.
Extensive experience selling complex enterprise SaaS solutions to large organizations.
Core understanding and working knowledge of the AECO industry would be advantageous
Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and motivate high-performing sales teams.
Deep understanding of the APAC market landscape, including cultural nuances, business practices, and regulatory environments.
Exceptional strategic thinking, business acumen, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to travel frequently across the APAC region as required with occasional travel outside of the region for strategic leadership meetings.
