Role

The VP of Product, Fredhopper/XO is responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational aspects of the Fredhopper/XO (FHR/XO) solution, driving its growth, profitability, and market leadership. This role works cross-functionally developing the product strategies and driving the agreed initiatives to restore our position in the market, including collaborating closely with sales, marketing, customer success, and product development to optimise the product's market fit (deepening the Fashion, Beauty and Luxury merchandiser specialism), and to drive revenue growth through the delivery of the key features and solutions to customers to remain competitive.

The VP of Product, Fredhopper/XO manages the P&L of the product/solution and plays a key role in aligning FHR/XO's vision with company goals. Hence the VP of Product, Fredhopper/XO leads the product management team, and fosters seamless cooperation with:

  • The CRO to support new customer acquisition and expansion initiatives
  • The Marketing team to support product marketing and launches
  • The CCO to support customer success and retention strategies, while understanding customer and market needs to take back to product development to form a comprehensive roadmap
  • The Engineering team to agree on and communicate required launch dates
What will you do?

Product/Solution Strategy and Management:

  • Develop and own the strategic roadmap for Fredhopper/XO, aligning it with overall business objectives and market opportunities
  • Oversee FHR/XO product development decisions, enhancements, and lifecycle management, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends
  • Oversee industrialised Product Management and Engineering discipline, to ensure timely delivery and high-quality product outcomes
  • Collaborate with partners and the Solutions team to guide the identification and delivery of appropriate connectors to drive ease of implementation, making it easy to buy and implement the product

Revenue and Growth:

  • Work with the CRO to support new logo acquisition and expansion efforts by providing product expertise, strategic support, and tailored but repeatable solutions
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for Fredhopper/XO in collaboration with sales, marketing, partnership and solutions teams to maximise revenue. Work with partnerships team to support the recruitment of key relevant ecosystem strategic/CRO and ecommerce partners to work with
  • Align product pricing, packaging, and positioning with overall company growth and expansion strategies

Customer Success and Retention:

  • Partner with the customer success team to ensure customer satisfaction, retention and upsell opportunities for Fredhopper/XO
  • Monitor customer feedback and usage data to inform product improvements and prioritise features that enhance customer value

Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Lead cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing/product marketing and customer success for Fredhopper/XO, to ensure alignment on product launches and uptake
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing to integrate sales strategies and customer insights from the product roadmap, ensuring sales teams are empowered with knowledge and tools
  • Facilitate communication between departments, mitigating potential conflicts and fostering a cooperative culture

Financial Management:

  • P&L ownership for Fredhopper/XO, including budgeting, forecasting and financial performance tracking
  • Analyse financial data to make informed business decisions and optimise the FHR/XO's profitability

Reporting and Performance:

  • Report directly to the CEO providing regular updates on FHR/XO performance, strategic initiatives, and growth metrics
  • Develop and track KPIs related to FHR/XO's performance, customer satisfaction, and revenue contributions and as well as Engineering/delivery KPIs.
