Job Description
The Role

Our client is a reputable private markets firm and they are looking to add an experienced VP level professional into their dynamic and collaborative Investor Relations team. Working closely with the head of the team, you will help lead on the project management of fundraises, as well as helping manage existing LPs and get involved in additional projects around content, AI/automation and new strategies.

Your core responsibilities will include drafting PPMs, DDQs and case studies, preparing investor communications, marketing materials and data analysis for existing and prospective investors, as well as content and material for investor events. This will be in addition to attending investor meetings and answering client queries. The successful individual will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring more junior members of the team.

The Candidate

The ideal individual will have started their career in private placement or investment banking in addition to having a few years in an IR role within a private markets investment firm.

To be successful in this role, the right candidate will have:

  • Experience running through fundraising cycles, which they have led on the project management side
  • A strong understanding of Private Equity or Private Credit investment, gained in a relevant professional environment
  • Ideally the CFA or CAIA qualification (or working towards)
  • Refined financial and analytical skills combined with very strong attention to detail
  • Strong writing skills with a proven ability to own content and craft a story

This would suit an individual with a collegiate approach, who enjoys mentoring and wants to be part of a growing business.

This is a chance to join a high calibre IR function in a strong branded Private Equity & Private Credit firm. It should be noted that this role is not a coverage / fundraising role but will include interaction with LPs.
