VP, Group Quality & Business Improvement Lead
London


We are seeking an experienced business improvement professional to be a pivotal addition to the Group office in London, tasked with establishing a quality framework, driving continuous improvement, and supporting strategic change across operating companies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Assurance & Compliance
  • Develop and implement group-wide quality policies and frameworks
  • Lead internal audits, compliance reviews, and risk-based assessments across subsidiaries
  • Ensure quality initiatives are documented, traceable, and audit-ready
  • Support subsidiaries in meeting ISO and regulatory requirements

2. Business Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
  • Lead cross-functional business process reengineering initiatives
  • Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement tools
  • Identify and implement cost-saving and performance-enhancing initiatives
  • Monitor and follow up on post-review implementation

3. Governance & Reporting
  • Deliver structured insights and recommendations to group governance forums and board-level stakeholders
  • Support assurance reviews and regulatory compliance audits
  • Translate operational observations into clear, governance-aligned reporting

4. Customer Experience & Service Quality
  • Introduce mechanisms to capture the voice of internal and external customers
  • Analyse feedback to inform product, process, and service improvements
  • Work with business units to embed a customer-focused culture

5. Strategic Projects & Transformation
  • Apply project management methodologies to support strategic initiative delivery
  • Contribute to M&A integration, especially around operational harmonisation and control environment upgrades
  • Act as a key resource in business transformation programmes at subsidiary and group levels

6. Collaboration & Influence
  • Engage with senior leadership across subsidiaries, including functional heads and quality leads
  • Act as a centre-of-excellence resource, mentoring local quality teams
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and risk awareness across the group

Candidate Profile
  • Proven track record in quality assurance, operational improvement, or business transformation
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, and internal controls
  • Board-level reporting and stakeholder engagement experience
  • Experience in financial services
  • Ability to operate effectively in a group/holding structure with decentralised business units
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Pragmatic and collaborative approach to driving change
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of influencing without authority
