Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with JAAQ's mission and business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, and Partnerships, to ensure content supports overall business goals.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to keep JAAQ at the forefront of content innovation.
- Ideate and oversee the production of diverse content types, including interactive videos, articles, podcasts, webinars, and social media posts.
- Ensure all content is accurate, empathetic, and aligns with mental health communication standards.
- Implement a content calendar that balances evergreen topics with timely, relevant issues.
- Tailor content strategies to effectively reach and engage both D2C and B2B audiences.
- Utilise data analytics to understand audience behaviour, preferences, and feedback, refining content accordingly.
- Foster community engagement through interactive content, user-generated stories, and social media initiatives
- Build and manage a high-performing (direct line and matrix) content team, including writers, editors, designers, and multimedia producers.
- Provide mentorship, set clear objectives, and facilitate professional development opportunities.
- Establish workflows and processes to ensure efficient content production and quality control.
- Work closely with mental health professionals and individuals with lived experiences to co-create authentic content.
- Partner with external organisations, influencers, and stakeholders to amplify JAAQ's reach and impact.
- Proven experience (8+ years) in content strategy, preferably within the mental health, healthcare, or tech sectors.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of content types and successful campaigns.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Deep understanding of content marketing principles, SEO, and audience segmentation.
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
- Empathy and sensitivity towards mental health topics and narratives.
