Volunteer Throughcare: Facilitate Recovery Groups & Outreach

Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live.

Last year over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of million hours of their time to our organisation.

Would you like to join our growing team of volunteers, and make a real difference?

At Change Grow Live we believe groups are a great way to engage and connect with those who use our services.

We therefore offer a wide range of structured groups including:

• Foundations of Recovery
• SMART Recovery
• Online semi structured groups

As a Throughcare Volunteer, you will support the facilitation and preparation of a range of structured groups both physical and online, including the semi structured online groups. This includes promoting groups to service users, reminding them of upcoming sessions, and engaging with those who do not attend. You can also be involved in making motivational calls to encourage attendance and promote a range of community based recovery activities. You will be provided with training and supported to eventually be able to take the lead in delivering some of the online groups and provide one to one support to clients.
