Volunteer Talking Therapies Comms and Engagement

RDaSH Talking Therapies is looking for a friendly, outgoing person with good communication and organisational skills to assist with engagement work across the locality, supporting the Talking Therapies Communications and Engagement Officer.

Main duties of the job

Promote the service across the wider locality to raise awareness and distribute materials to GP surgeries, third party organisations and the public. Attend events, network, and undertake targeted promotion, including ethnic minority outreach using translated materials. Devise creative ideas for social media and, where competent, create graphics on Canva.

• Distribute flyers, leaflets and posters to internal and external organisations and third party sites across North Lincolnshire, such as healthcare centres, GP's, pharmacies, coffee shops, supermarkets, church halls, council-run community centres, care homes, large employers, university centres, etc.
• Put forward creative ideas for social media and, if desired/competent, create social media graphics on Canva.
• Support engagement events across North Lincolnshire.
• Targeted promotion around ethnic minorities and global majorities, using appropriate translated materials.
• Be confident in talking to others.

Qualifications & skills

• Educated to a good standard.
• Good organisational skills.
