Through a series of talks and open conversations, the event creates space for people to share ideas, experiences and aspirations for their town.The RoleAs PR & Outreach Coordinator, you will be the bridge between The Big Listen and the wider world - handling press enquiries, building relationships with media contacts and managing communications with partners and VIP guests in the lead-up to the event.Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming press queries and proactively reach out to local media contacts
• Draft and distribute press releases and event information
• Manage communications with event partners and VIP guests
• Coordinate with the Content & Storytelling Lead to ensure message alignment

What We Are Looking For

• Experience or strong interest in PR, communications or journalism
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confident, professional manner in dealing with external contacts
• Organised and able to manage multiple relationships at once
