Volunteer - Cadet Scheme Leader (Maidenhead and Windsor)

TVP's Cadets scheme gives young people an opportunity to develop their qualities and skills through a structured programme and to enhance the relationship between the public and police. You will take part in neighbourhood policing initiatives, plus community activities and events.

The scheme encourages the spirit of adventure, offering the opportunity for you to be heard, support your community and develop skills to become a fantastic citizen in a fun and friendly environment.

Our aims

• To promote a practical understanding of policing amongst all young people
• To encourage the spirit of adventure and good citizenship
• To support local policing priorities through volunteering and give young people a chance to be heard
• Inspire young people to participate positively in their communities

Responsibilities

Spare 3 hours each Wednesday evening, 6.30 9.30pm to lead the Cadet Scheme activities.

Guide and support cadets through neighbourhood policing initiatives, community events and programmes.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.

Volunteer will be subjected to a level of police vetting. Applicants may be required to provide personal details as part of Vetting Code of Practice compliance.
