Job Title: Visitor Experience & Retail Manager

Salary: £33,368 to £35,235 per annum

Fixed Term: Full time, permanent, 37 hours per week, 5 days over 7

Tullie is a major independent regional museum welcoming over 200,000 visitors every year. We are the lead organisation of the Cumbria Museum Consortium, an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation. We are seeking an ambitious and commercially drivenVisitor Experience & Retail Managerto lead our front-of-house and retail operations. This is a pivotal role responsible for leading and delivering a high-quality, safe, and commercially effective visitor experience at Tullie. From managing front-of-house operations and staffing to driving customer satisfaction, upselling, and system improvements, this role ensures our visitors receive exceptional service from arrival to departure - all while contributing to the financial sustainability of the organisation. The role includes managing a high-performing team and ensuring the seamless integration of systems and practices that support Tullie's goals. This role comes at an exciting time in Tullie's history as we move forward with our capital development project. The candidate will be pivotal in celebrating these new spaces and ensuring the smooth running of operations.
