Vetting Superintendent

Our client is a prominent player in the maritime risk and compliance sector, based in London and operating globally. Due to ongoing expansion, they are now seeking a Vetting Superintendent to join their London-based team. This role will be instrumental in overseeing vessel vetting processes and ensuring alignment with international regulations and customer expectations. You will serve as a key point of contact between shore operations and vessels, managing inspection schedules, reviewing vetting outcomes, and driving compliance enhancements.

Essential Criteria for the Role:

• At least 2 years of shore based experience in a vetting or marine assurance capacity.
• Previous sea service as a Chief Officer on ocean going merchant ships, ideally tankers.
• Solid working knowledge of OCIMF standards, including SIRE and TMSA frameworks.
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
• Must possess the legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
