Veterinary Surgeon - King's Lynn

Salary up to £75,000 Flexible Hours

Our client is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and committed team in King's Lynn where they can offer a welcoming and supportive environment. The practice first opened its doors in 2009 and has continued to grow year after year. Located just 30 minutes from the stunning Norfolk coastline, and a client base that is as diverse as the surrounding area-caring for everything from dogs, cats and small furries to Meerkats and even a raccoon.

You'll be joining a highly skilled team that includes vets at various stages of their careers, four qualified RVNs, two student nurses, four receptionists, and two kennel assistants. The atmosphere is collaborative, supportive and genuinely fun to be part of. The purpose-built, air-conditioned surgery is designed to industry-leading standards and fitted with cutting-edge equipment. You'll have access to digital x-ray, ECG, an Idexx in-house laboratory, ultrasound, full dentistry facilities and an iPhone/iPad-compatible heart monitor. They are also the only practice in King's Lynn using Sevoflurane, enhancing the level of care provided.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical veterinary care with a varied caseload, including dogs, cats and small furries, plus meerkats and even a raccoon.
  • Work as part of a highly skilled team of vets at various stages of their careers, four qualified RVNs, two student nurses, four receptionists and two kennel assistants.
  • Utilise digital x-ray, ECG, Idexx in-house laboratory, ultrasound and dentistry facilities to deliver high standards of veterinary care.
  • Contribute to and benefit from a supportive, collaborative practice culture and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications & development
  • Open to Veterinary Surgeons at various career stages; CPD is actively encouraged and funded.
  • RCVS and VDS memberships are provided, plus a third professional subscription of your choice.
  • Salary is tailored to experience; opportunity to develop in areas of interest.
