Here, you'll have the opportunity to manage a diverse array of cases in-house, from soft tissue surgeries to orthopaedics. This role is perfect for a vet with a few years of experience who's ready to take the next step in their career. Whether you have a specific passion or are eager to explore new areas of veterinary medicine, you'll find the right mix of interesting cases, hands on support, and funding to help you advance, including the possibility of starting a certificate. While an interest in ophthalmology would be a bonus, it's not essential. To ease your transition, you'll be paired with a buddy vet during your induction.

Enjoy a balanced work life schedule with a 4 day week and an early finish once a week. For seven weeks out of nine, you'll finish at 1 pm, effectively working a 3.5 day week. For the remaining two weeks, the early finish is at 5 pm. The rota is flexible, accommodating part time positions if needed. Weekends are split to ensure no one works a full weekend on call, enhancing everyone's work life balance. Bonus pay is offered for any procedures carried out when on call, and an RVN is on site 24/7 for inpatient care.

Located in a charming market town with excellent amenities, including cafés, restaurants, and great schools, all set against beautiful rolling countryside. The practice is conveniently located near a leisure centre and a large park, perfect for lunchtime walks. The area offers a plethora of outdoor activities and excellent transport links, including direct trains to London and Cambridge and proximity to Stansted Airport.
