Looking for clinical freedom, true flexibility, and real career development? Summerhill Vets are currently undergoing a complete renovation and are re-opening as a brand-new state of the art practice in early 2026, built with your ambitions in mind. As a Veterinary Surgeon, you'll grow your skills in a modern facility, be part of a close knit and supportive team, collaborate with colleagues for the best clinical outcomes, and enjoy flexible working patterns that truly fit your lifestyle.
Proud to Be Part of IVC EvidensiaAt IVC Evidensia, we're driven by the passion and commitment of our people - across clinical, operational, and support teams. With over 2,500 clinics and hospitals in 20 countries and around 41,000 employees, we work together to care for around 25,000 animals every day. United by a shared purpose - Healthy Animals, Happy Owners - we're proud to champion long term animal health and welfare through the dedication of every individual across our international network.
Supportive, Skilled and Well equippedSummerhill Vets' new facility will feature five consulting rooms, two operating theatres, a dedicated dental suite with dental X rays, separate cat and dog wards, and an isolation unit. You'll also have access to advanced diagnostic equipment including ultrasound, endoscopy, and multi parameter monitors, plus K Laser therapy and top tier surgical tools.
You'll be joining a highly experienced and collaborative team of Veterinary Surgeons, RVNs, support staff and an incredible Director of Practice who value teamwork, case continuity, and professional growth. Specialist interests are encouraged and supported - whether that's ophthalmology, exotics, or internal medicine.
Flexibility That Fits Your LifestyleWe know how important balance is. At Summerhill, you'll work a balanced rota of consulting and surgical shifts, with no out of hours or bank holiday work.
