Are you a motivated veterinary surgeon with a keen interest in surgery or orthopaedics, looking to join a supportive, fun, and professional team just a short walk from the coast? About the Practice & Location:

This bright, spacious, purpose-built surgery has separate dog and cat areas, air-conditioned facilities, and dedicated theatres, prep rooms, and waiting areas to reduce stress for patients. Situated in a beautiful coastal area, it offers a fantastic work-life balance and a welcoming community feel.

The practice is equipped with the latest technology, including:

Ultrasound Digital radiography (including dental) Endoscope & laparoscope In-house lab Laser therapy and acupuncture Advanced services are offered such as cardiology, behaviour, keyhole surgery, dentistry, and orthopaedics, giving you the opportunity to work on interesting and diverse cases.

About the Team & Role:

You will join an experienced and friendly team of 5.5 vets, 12 nurses, and 7 client care staff. This role is ideal for an ambitious veterinary surgeon with a genuine interest in surgery or orthopaedics, excellent consulting skills, and solid competency in routine surgical procedures.

The practice encourages continual professional development and supports vets in developing areas of special interest.

To Be Considered:

  • MRCVS Registration or eligibility Interest in surgery or orthopaedics
  • Minimum of 2 years' veterinary experience
  • Strong consulting and surgical skills

  • Up to date CPD
