Are you a passionate Veterinary Surgeon seeking your next adventure? With decades of combined experience, three Lead Vets supporting clinicians, and Clinical Directors overseeing the practices, you'll be surrounded by skilled professionals dedicated to delivering outstanding veterinary care.
The practice is home to a talented team of 24 Vets, including certificate holders in Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology, and Feline Medicine, alongside a visiting Ophthalmology Diplomate. Interests across the team range from orthopaedics, ECC, and exotics to dentistry, ultrasound, and laparoscopic surgery. With such a diverse group, there is always someone to collaborate with, learn from, and share in professional development.
Facilities are truly state-of-the-art, featuring well-equipped consult rooms, operating theatres offering laparoscopic neutering, isolation units, onsite laboratory, ultrasound, digital and dental x-ray, orthopaedic services, and even laser therapy. The practice is proud to be Cat Friendly ISFM accredited across all sites, ensuring the very best standards of patient care. With a brand new CT department now in place, alongside their own out-of-hours emergency service, this is a practice committed to excellence and continual investment.
The ideal candidate will be confident in routine consultations, surgery, and working within a team. However, if there are areas you'd like to build your confidence, you'll find fantastic support from an experienced group of vets and nurses. Excellent communication skills, a desire to grow, and RCVS registration are essential.
Location is another huge plus - based on the beautiful Somerset and Wiltshire border, you'll have the stunning countryside on your doorstep while being within easy reach of Bath, Bristol, Salisbury, the Cotswolds, and the south coast. Direct train routes to London make this a truly accessible and desirable place to live and work.
