About the Practice

Are you a passionate and dedicated veterinarian looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and dynamic environment? This RCVS-accredited practice is seeking an enthusiastic Vet to join its esteemed team. With a rich history of providing exceptional care to the region's pets for 45 years, the practice is renowned for its commitment to excellence in veterinary medicine.

Role Overview

The practice boasts a large, purpose-built locally located hospital, complemented by five fully equipped branch practices. The team is composed of multiple certificate holders and professionals with diverse clinical interests, ensuring a collaborative and enriching work environment. The practice is dedicated to the growth of its team members, offering ample learning and development opportunities through both in house and external CPD.

Responsibilities
  • Split your time between two of the five closely situated branches.
  • Be an approachable team player with excellent communication skills, capable of taking sole charge and delivering outstanding client service.
  • Work up your own cases, with the support of the flagship hospital for emergencies and hospital patients.
Salary & Working Hours

Competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £60,000 FTE, depending on experience. Full time, 40 hours per week, with flexibility for part time arrangements for the right candidate. Working hours are from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm, four days per week, with a 1:4 Saturday rota at either practice, supported by the hospital for more complex cases.

Located in a picturesque part of the country, you will enjoy proximity to the coast, the vibrant city life, and the serene South Downs National Park. Excellent travel links make London just a one hour train journey away, and Gatwick Airport is conveniently close.
