A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a modern and well-equipped practice in the heart of Prescot. This sole charge role offers the perfect blend of professional development and quality of life, with a loyal client base and a varied caseload to keep every day interesting. The practice is centrally located, with on-site parking and high visibility, ensuring ease of access for both staff and clients.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be an RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon, experienced in delivering exceptional patient care and client communication. You'll thrive in a team environment, demonstrating clinical leadership and supporting progressive practice culture, including nurse consults and Schedule 3 procedures. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and develop colleagues, sharing best practice and enhancing the skills of the wider team.
- Provide exceptional care during consultations and procedures
- Prepare tailored treatment plans with clear cost estimates
- Complete clinical handovers and arrange transfers for out-of-hours or enhanced care patients
- Drive professional excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance and high operational standards
RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon with experience in delivering patient care and effective client communication. Ability to work in a team, demonstrate clinical leadership, and support a progressive practice culture.
Rota- Full time position
- 1:3 Saturdays or 1:6 full weekends
- 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays rising with length of service
- Salary up to £60,000 DOE
