Vets Now Newport works out of one of the largest emergency hospitals in the south west.

At Vets Now Newport, you will find a fully equipped and modern hospital. You will also find a well supported and enthusiastic team, including a team of Vets, Nurses and Animal Care Assistants.

Working in this 24-hour ECC setting you will see a varied and interesting caseload which will sharpen and develop your veterinary skills.

Newport as a location is conveniently located immediately off the M4 and is within easy reach of Bristol and Cardiff. It also offers easy access to the Brecon Beacons National Park and is just an hour from the Gower Peninsula.

In this part-time role, you will work the backshifts. The available shift options include the following on a 3 week rolling rota, plus a fair share of bank holidays:

• Week 1: Monday & Tuesday
• Week 2: Monday & Tuesday and either; Saturday & Sunday (option 1) or Saturday & Sunday (option 2)
• Week 3: Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday

As a backshift Vet you will often work as an additional Vet on shift, providing an opportunity to share knowledge and work together on the more complex cases.
