Looking for More Than Just a Job?
If you're ready to do meaningful work, grow your skills, and join a team that genuinely cares, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Since 2006, our client has been a leading voice in feline veterinary care-founded with a clear vision: to put cats and their owners at the heart of everything they do. Now, they're entering an exciting new chapter and inviting a passionate vet to come on board.

What's Changing?
They're expanding one of their two practices to welcome all small animals, while maintaining their second site as a 100% feline-only clinic. This is your chance to help shape the future of a growing, independent practice with a reputation for excellence in both first-opinion and referral-level feline medicine.

Why Join the Team?
Because happy vets make the best vets. This practice prioritises wellbeing, professional growth, and flexibility, offering a genuinely supportive, close-knit working environment. You'll be encouraged to bring new ideas, build strong client relationships, and collaborate with a team that values your voice.

Professional Development
They're committed to your growth, with funded CPD and opportunities to develop your interests-especially in areas like feline medicine, dentistry, and small animal care.

The Role - Flexible & Balanced
Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time work, they can tailor a schedule that suits your life.

Full-Time (30-40 hours/week):
• 4-day week with 10-hour shifts (paid lunch break included)
• Typically 8am-6pm, with one 9am-7pm shift per week
• 1 in 4 weekends (Saturday 9am-2pm, Sunday 9am-12pm)
• Friday off following your working weekend

Part-Time:
• 2-3 days per week
• 1 in 4 weekends (same hours as above)

No On-Call Duties:
• Just one late check per week for stable inpatients
• Weekday cover is phone support only
• Weekend inpatient care shared with the duty RVN

Protected Breaks & Admin Time:
• Paid lunch breaks-no missed meals
• Structured diary time for admin, with no double-booking or squeezed calls

What They're Looking For:
• A small animal vet with post-GDP experience and RCVS registration
• Confident in routine surgery and comfortable with sole charge
• Bonus if you have dental experience-but training in dental X-rays and local blocks is available
• A positive, collaborative team player-daily team huddles keep everyone connected and supported

Location, Location, Location
Based in beautiful Oxford, you'll enjoy easy access to everything from historic architecture and cultural gems to countryside hikes, punting on the River Isis, and quick train links to London. The Cotswolds and Chiltern Hills are right on your doorstep.

Interested?
If you're ready to be part of something special, I would love to hear from you. Help shape the next chapter of a practice that's built on care, collaboration, and excellence.

The Package:
• Generous salary of £48,000 - £58,000 depending on experience (pro rata for part-time)
• 5 weeks' holiday, plus bank holidays (pro rata)
• Your birthday off - because you deserve it!
• CPD encouraged, with certificates fully supported and funded
• Professional fees paid (RCVS & VDS)
• Sponsorship available for the right candidate
